Kekasih Kuseru
The hubby and I have been hooked to the teevee set because of the above drama.
Shahreil said yesterday that it was the first time that he ever had a Malay drama marathon. Susah dapat tuu...
But Kekasihku Seru was really a good horror drama. I bought the DVD out of impulse, actually. Looked at the cover and thought it didn't look like the typical lame Malay horror dramas.. and before I knew it, $24 was out of my wallet. Luckily, it was worth my money. If it had been anywhere near Jangan Pandang Belakang or Jangan Tegur kind of standard, I'd turn into a ghost myself and haunt the DVD uncle for the rest of his life for recommending the drama to me!
It was so good that Shahreil (!) went to rent the 2nd volume of the drama last night. I'm eagerly waiting for night to arrive so that we can continue with our marathon. My fingers itching to just slid the DVD into the player and watch it while Shahreil's out doing some errands. But this was his parting words before he left," If you watch it even a bit, without me... I swear Waris will come tonight and tomorrow night to haunt you. That's my curse..."
Hmmm... I think I'd just wait for him. I wouldnt want Waris come looking for me!

Wastutik
Ibu's house was full of people who were eager to show off their artistic talent last night. Glue, markers of many many colours, construction papers were all over the living room.
See how khusyuk Amira was, mencari ilham..
What were we up to?
Farewell cards for our beloved maid.. Wastutuk a.k.a mbakyu a.k.a nek yu a.k.a kambing.
After 4 years with the family, it's high time that she went back to her own family to have kids of her own to fuss over.
I still am secretly hoping that she'll come back to look after Ryan, but I guess that'd be very selfish of me.
But hey! Look what we made her that night!

Doubts
Well, so much for feeling blissful and contented.
I just read another ex-cher who opted out of the workforce to be a full-time mom.
That makes it 2 in just a month.
Which unfortunately made me question myself again. Am I doing it right?
But then, I believe everyone has a different path to follow.
Being a working mom doesn't mean I will be a lesser mom to my child.

Decade
have been so busy that I hardly had the time to breathe. That explains the hiatus from the blogging world. Now that all papers have been marked, computations all done, house matters settled (not the reno and moving in though), retro outfits hunted down, bought and displayed.. I can finally have a moment of peace. Especially since the little boy is asleep, and the big boy out to play soccer. *phew*
For the first time in many years, I failed to blog about my anniversary celebration. Not that it isn't important or wonderful or has grown basi after 10 long years. Yup. 10 long years! It's just that this year, we agreed on having a simple, fuss-free and inexpensive affair. Shahreil has explained the reasons in his blog, go and find out if you want. However, thanks to dear Abby, we got to have an overnight getaway at lovely Fairmont Hotel..at a very discounted rate. Thanks gal! Shahreil delivered me a box of flowers, complete with a lovely lovely tiara in the middle of it all, which had many colleagues coming up to me to ask a whole load of questions. And I think, after a decade together, we both even think the same .. cos be got each other quite similar presents. Picture frames! Hahahah.. Same same but different.
Presents aside, it's unbelievable sometimes that we've been together this long. And we didn't think for a moment when we got together many many years ago that 10 years down the road, we'll be happy, blissful, contented and with a handsome son in tow. Yup, a lovely decade it has been. Definitely.

My Weekend.
The hubby and I made our way early in the morning to Expo for the much hyped Harvey Norman sale. I nearly went crazy over there and I couldn't help thinking if only we have a long lost millionaire uncle.
When we finally decided that we should istighfar banyak-banyak and not succumb to any temptations, we made our way to Tampines to see our favourite person in the whole world.. Ryan Iskandar! Look who we saw at the void deck! Mahathir fiddling with his bicycle. Dah besar adik aku ye...
Ryan as usual, was the most pampered baby in that house. All he wants to do is play that he doesn't even sleep, which of course made him cranky and whiny. Tapi takpe, someone always want to layan him ... like the nenek..
and the mbakyu... Ryan is always so happy to see mbakyu as he knows she will bring him jalan-jalan at the corridor.. SUkalah, kena gendong memanjang!

That leaves the happy mother free ..
to enjoy a cup of tea & read a book. This book i bought at a sale is super funny. I could relateto EVERYTHING that's written in it! It's about working mothers and I need it to know that there are others out there who feel what I feel.
And oh.. Wolverine was one hell of a good movie. It helps that Hugh Jackman is such a hottie.
