In Bali right now. A bit too late to blog about my wedding huh?

What to do. Been super busy.

I have a lot of people to say thanks to.

To my family, of course.

Dad who slept at the void deck since Wednesday night.

Mum who did so much sewing for my bridal room.

My siblings. Ikin the best wedding planner ever! I will be eternally grateful to her. And nope, I'm not going to sponsor you Danny Hanafi when it's your turn!

Diyana who became the toilet control officer. Haha!

Aini, Mimi and Abang for the extra help.

To the Hj Mokhtar & Hajah Saedah's clans.

Pak Long for the yummy food.

Cik Niah for the telurs.

Cik Ina for the gorgeous cake.

And many others who were there days before the wedding.

Especially to my darling cousins who all wore pink (except Luqman who chicken-ed out!)! I love you guys so very much!

To all the Buru-ans who braved the sea and more importantly, the customs!

Zaki from KL, despite his dad's condition.

Those from seberang tambak.

To my darling darling kids from Punggol.

Those who rewang-ed especially.

To Sultanah Bridal who made me look pretty.

To Khai and Slice.

And of course to Danny from Sace's. You made my dream wedding come true!

And lastly, to my husband.

Thank you for loving me.

I'm looking forward to life with you.

Now, let's just enjoy Bali!

And yeah.. I always end up very lonely at night.
And the aimless surfing on internet.
Thanks to my babes at work, I have a gorgeous bling bling bridal shoe.
Love you Babe, Su, Farah n Chui Mei!

And yeah.. now it's confirmed where I got my stubborn genes from.
Things are moving EXTREMELY fast right now.
Went for final fitting yesterday. The mak andam seems nice enough.
Nearly got a heart attack when I saw the tent up!
This seems so to be so REAL!

My hands and feet become very cold everytime I think about it now.
Hahahah..
I'm getting MARRIED!!!!

Oh yeah... Happy 23rd Birthday to my dearest sister, Nurdiyana a.k.a 'D' a.k.a MEL a.k.a Sexbomb! Semoga dipanjangkan umur & dimurahkan rezeki!

I fell in love with Hang Jebat at the tender age of 8, when I first read the book 'Hang Tuah'.
It was actually the very first non-kiddy book that I read. It was by accident really, as I had nothing to do so I ended up rummaging through my granddad's rather impressive book shelves. Maybe, it was the cheery yellow cover that caught my attention. I flipped through the book, read the first few lines and before I knew it I was so drawn into the story. I remember crying so hard by the time I reached the last page. From that very moment, Hang Jebat became my hero. And I grew up hating Hang Tuah. Everytime someone mentioned Hang Tuah as pahlawan Melayu terbilang, I'd roll my eyes.

Being a Malay Studies student in NUS sort of changed the way that I see things though. I realised that things are not so simple. Its not really black and white. So, I wont go into who's wrong and who's right.

But I always wonder how would things turn out if only Jebat wasn't killed that fateful day? What if Jebat and Tuah had worked together and rule Malacca?

Oh.. if only I have a time-machine.

Everything seems to be getting into place.
My bedroom set is here. (Strong, solid, sexy. Gorgeousness!)
My bridal photos are here too. (Only selected people will get to see them. Others who I foresee will bitch/complain/nag about the amount of flesh I've exposed or the *muahz muahz muaahzz* poses, will never get anywhere near the albums)
The berkats are making its way slowly from over the causeway.

Well, generally happy with the way things are.
But I just wish that the excitement bug hits me and the fiance soon enough.
Are we the only soon-to-be-married couple who are not excited to be married??
Is this normal?
Am I supposed to be worried?

So alone!

So alone in my bed
Alone listening to nightly whispers
Alone in my thoughts
Alone standing in court
Alone I stand and fight
Alone I pray for rainbow lights
Alone in the morning I awake
Alone I celebrate my joys
Alone I cry out my sadness
Alone I voice out my fears
Alone in strength
Alone in wealth
Alone in good health
Alone I try to understand
Alone I seek knowledge
Alone I share what is mine
Alone I try not to be alone
Alone when my time has come, I pass away

It's getting to be very busy..
Dad woke me up early on Saturday morning, gave me 2 huge luggage bags and asked me to pack up.
Nope. No huge rows with him. Not being 'halau-ed' out of the house. It's just that my new bedroom furniture will be arriving on Tuesday. He wants me to clear my stuffs first. So, Saturday was spent chucking all my books ( I sure have LOTS of books!) into the 2 bags. I nearly teared when I had to throw all my magazines away. Some of which I have kept for more than 10 years. Well, what to do... Anyways, my siblings had a swell time irritating me by saying that dad has kicked me out of the house. Yah yah.. You will all be sad when I really leave the house next month. Tgk jer ah..

Sunday was spent walking arund town buying our hantaran stuffs. It sure was fun having a sugar daddy who kept saying, "You nak..amik jer ah.." If I was selfish enough, I would have wiped out the entire M.A.C shop!

There's so many people that I'd like to thank.
Aqilah for giving us the huge Metro discount.
Is rambut for the topshop suit.
Tok Ne and Cik Niah who came over to rewang2 on Saturday, althou there wasnt anything to do yet.
Mardhiyah and family who came on Sunday.
Nadia, Izzuddin and family who came over on Sunday too and helped with the berkats.
Cik Amat who volunteered to push the wardrobe and dismantle my bed on the same lazy Sunday afternoon.
Once again, I feel so loved.

And thanks to Anang, whom I managed to sneak out with on a very much needed date on Friday evening. Stardust was fabulous!

You should have seen Cik Niah and Tok Ne's reactions when I told them I am moving over to Bukit Batok after marriage.
Obviously, I am so loved. Awww..
