Batam

The whole Mohamad clan went to Batam on early Sunday morning. The ferry was totally booked so we had no choice but to take the earliest one, which was at 8. Not a good thing, cos obviously Megamall opens only much later. Tapi apa boleh buat kan..

But it was definitely a highly anticipated trip since its the first family holiday since I got hitched and of cos, it's Ryan's first ferry trip!! YEAHHHHH!!!! Ermmm..not that it makes much difference as he slept throughout the journey.

While the parents and Ikin went for spa @ Mustika Ratu the moment we arrived, the rest of us were like anak terbuang berligar-ligar at the Ferry Terminal since Megamall belum bukak lagik! LENGIT! We were of course, the first to arrive at Pizza Hut where we mencekik muntah kedarah. Murah lah wooooo!

Checked in at Holiday Inn and after that kita suma lepak!! Ngantuk sey! The room was fabulous, as usual. Malam, makan lagik. It was a compulsory CNY dinner. BBQ. SYIOK. Oh. Did I mentione that Ryan sat in the high chair during both makan sessions? SO besau!

Nak makan pun ada susah sikit cos Tengku Mahkota Ryan kat sebelah. Nasib baik ada Tok Tan. Heheheh...

Kata "Tok sayang dia ..." kan? Haaa... tolong jagalah ye.. Hehehehh!

Finally, a pic of us. Anak daras mamat. Oh.. ok. Not me. But it feels good to be with my sisters and feeling zaman2 single dulu. I do miss my sisters. And you too, Mahathir. I sometimes wish that it can be like old times. Just hanging out with them talking rubbish 24/7 and all the while munching of stuffs. Growing up is hard!!!

I always have this fear that I do not get to spend as much time as I want with Ryan due to work commitments. True enough, it has been rather hard to balance work and whatever stuffs I have going on in my life, with time I get to spent with the handsome one. But you have to do what you have to do. I try my darnest to finish my work in school so that I he will get my undivided attention at home. Not easy, but trying is good.

Yesterday was a good day for the family cos we had time to enjoy mindless walking around Vivo. Ok, not so mindless cos I've been dying to let Ryan try the swimming thingy. I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did.

Turning 5

Why am I blogging at 6.15 in the morning?
I guess, its because I'm getting used to waking up early again now that I'm working.
And since Ryan is not around, I can have some spare time to actually type out something here.
And oh! I have to work today. Yeah. On a saturday. What a bummer.

Why haven't I been blogging religiously lately?
Two reasons:
1. My camera's SD card is spoilt. And I hate posting without pictures. Macam tak best jek.. Remind me to get a replacement a.s.a.p.
2. Busy. My life has been pretty occupied, I tell you. Weekdays waking up at 5.45 (not that I'm complaining cos when I was in Punggol I had to wake up at 4.30!), bathe, kemas bilik, sapu, cuci botol Ryan. THen off to work...which is off course busy busy busy. Then rush back home and once home, my entire time is devoted to the little one to make up for all the lost time when Im at work. When he is asleep, I will do some surfing, chatting with Shahreil then Zzzzzzzz... Weekends have been very hectic too with many social engagements to fulfill. All in the name of fun of course. BUt sometimes I just wish that I have a little quiet time with Shahreil. And don't forget all the house viewings done after work and on weekends. The point is, I've busy.

Any interesting stuffs going on in my life?
Ryan turned 5 months yesterday. And he crawled!!! And I didnt get to see it! Damn! I've seen him on all fours a couple of time, but he will plonked back in a matter of nano seconds. But apparently he managed to take 1 or 2 steps forward last night at Tampines. Diyana was screaming for me like mad from upstairs and I thought she, being so selenger and all, had actually caused some kind of accident to my precious one. But actually Ryan crawled. My boy. SO big already ah? Wahhhhh.... I still can't believe it! Maybe it's time for another baby. Ok, NOT. BEfore you all start getting excited and jamming my sms inbox, NO, Im not pregnant and not intending to until I get a few months of uninterrupted sleep.

Househunting has been ok. I've been to a million houses. So far, Im interested in 2. Should I go for fantastic view and location, or should I go for wonderful decor? I think we both now pretty much which of those two we actually want, its just the CPF thingy that's giving us the headache. Aiyahhhh... I wish some billionaire soccer player will donate a fraction of his weekly salary to us!

Oppsss.. look at the time now! I've gotta go bathe and get ready for work.

And hey! I will be meeting my ex-form class on Monday when they collect their O Level results! I'm so excited. I never realise that I will miss that lot THIS much! Royston called me last night to ask if I will be the one giving them the results and how much it will mean to him and the rest of 5N2s if I will be the one delivering the good ( I hope!) news. Awwww...so sweet. But sorry, I can only be there for you, but I will not be the one giving out the results. (dah kena buang negeri, katakan!)I am so excited! I pray that all my kiddos will do well! See you on Monday!
